What can we do?

We will take a look at any guitar amplifier, effects units or echo unit. All our estimates are carried out free of charge. For a straight forward repair, we will give you an estimate. If you are happy with what you hear we will carryout out the repair to the highest quality standards. If the fault rectification requires us to order a part, then we will try to obtain an original component in the shortest possible time.

We can carryout servicing on your amplifier. This entails checking all electrolytic capacitors for leakage. Checking for resistors with excessive heat damage. Checking for dry solder joints. Cleaning valves bases, (if a valve amplifier). Cleaning all controls and switches. Generally cleaning the chassis and hardware, including the cabinet. We will then give the amplifier a thorough testing by playing a guitar through the amp and using our ears as the test instrument.

We will carryout any customisation modifications you may want to incorporate into your amplifier. Such as, adding an EF86 channel or a treble boost unit to a VOX amplifier.

Bias adjusting and checking. Re-valving. Complete rebuilds. Tone mods and power mods.
